Infant Care in Carver, MA

Leaving your baby with someone else for the first time is a big step. At Bright Beginnings Early Learning Center, our teachers are passionately dedicated to making sure your child is cared for in a nurturing and educational environment, right from the very first day.

Our Infant Classrooms welcome babies from 8 weeks to 15 months. We’re open 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, at 5 Green St in Carver.

A day built around your baby

Babies set their own rhythm, and a good infant room follows it. The first year is full of firsts: smiles, rolling over, sitting up, babbling, crawling and, for many, first steps. Our teachers give infants plenty of cuddles, conversation and room to explore, and they treat everyday moments like feeding, changing and waking up as chances to connect.

Safe sleep, every nap

We follow Massachusetts safe-sleep regulations closely:

  • Every infant has an individual crib, and all cribs meet the crib regulations that took effect for EEC in 2012.
  • Infants are placed on their backs to sleep, unless your child’s physician orders otherwise in writing.
  • No blankets, pillows, bumpers, stuffed toys or other soft items go in the crib. You’re welcome to send a sleep sack.
  • If your baby is under six months old, your child’s teacher will directly supervise them during naptime for their first six weeks in care.

Diapering and daily notes

We check and change diapers every two hours, and any time they’re wet or soiled, using your child’s own wipes. We use disposable diapers only, and families keep a supply of diapers, wipes and any creams at the center.

At pickup you’ll find a daily sheet in your child’s cubby with notes on eating, sleeping and diapering, plus the little achievements of the day. It’s an easy way to reconnect on the ride home.

Peace of mind at the door

Guardians enter with their own key fob or code, the Director monitors who comes in, and cameras are in use. Only authorized guardians listed in your child’s file may pick up.

When it’s time to move up

Around 15 months, your child will move up to our Toddler Program with a two-week transition (longer if needed). Teachers from both rooms work together, and with you, so the change feels easy.

Tuition and paying with pre-tax dollars

Infant care is offered on 2-day, 3-day and 4/5-day weekly schedules. See our Rates page for current tuition. Many families can pay with pre-tax dollars through an employer dependent care FSA, up to $7,500 federally in 2026. Ask your employer.
